Healthy Patterns Club - Apolonia

About me and how I came to be a life coach.

Always an observer from childhood, I sensed more than I could comprehend. Early challenges burdened me with a misplaced responsibility for everyone's happiness. Despite being told to be strong, I grew into a sensitive, creative, but internally troubled young adult. Outwardly, success in various endeavours masked my internal struggles, leading to depression and an eating disorder. Seeking happiness in relationships, I married and became a mother, perpetuating a cycle of unfulfilling patterns.

Controlling tendencies emerged, and I realised the fallacy of trying to shape others for my happiness. Business ventures and a career as a self-taught photographer followed, but any success failed to bring lasting fulfilment. Relocating to Glasgow for a fresh start only plunged me into a profound depressive state. Unwilling to rely on antidepressants, I allowed myself to hit rock bottom, realising that change required self-help on a deeper level than I believed till now.

Over seven years, I committed to self-discovery, confronting fears, and learning to differentiate my ego from my higher self. The journey involved saying no to ego, embracing all life experiences and challenges, and understanding that fulfilment isn't solely derived from external achievements. My marriage ended, evolving into a co-parenting friendship. My relationship with my teenage child improved as I released control, fostering trust and humour.

Life challenged me, dismantling everything I knew, but each fall made me stronger in an honest, vulnerable way. Trusting myself and the universe became paramount, leading to a profound sense of purpose. I discovered my true calling as a life coach, guiding others on their emotional growth journey. Now, I am unconditionally happy, excited about self-exploration, and grateful for the transformative journey that brought me to this moment.

Last but not least, I’m Apolonia, and you are?

"working from the inside outwards and creating a stable, unshakable self."
